Today it was a bit foggy in the city. On my way to work I stopped at Pier 14 to take a few pictures of 'Passage', monumental and amazing sculptures representing a mother and child.

The two 30-ft welded sculptures made from recycled metal objects, including horseshoes, herons (and even a kitchen sink :) will remain located at the entrance of the newly opened Pier 14 for another 3 months.

Dan Das Mann and Karen Cusolito created the sculptures for the Burning Man 2005.
